## What Kawafiry is

Kawafiry is salon management software with a public booking front end, and it has two
sides. For a salon owner it is a paid subscription that replaces the paper appointment
book and runs the day-to-day of the shop. For a customer it is a free directory and
booking service covering Syrian governorates, with no account, no app and no phone call.
Anyone can browse and book without signing up; only the salon owner pays.

Booking happens on the salon's own page. A salon may offer either or both of: reserving
a specific time, or taking a numbered queue ticket and watching the turn move in real
time. The customer needs no account and no app.

Working hours follow the local week: it starts on Saturday, and most salons close Friday.

transfer or in cash, so no bank card is needed. Customers never pay Kawafiry anything.

- **Does a customer need an app to book?** No. Salon pages open in any browser, and
  booking takes seconds. Kawafiry can be added to a phone's home screen if wanted, but
  it is not required and there is no app store download.
- **Does booking cost the customer anything?** No. Customers never pay Kawafiry.
- **What kinds of salon are on it?** Men's barbers, barbershops, women's salons, nail
  salons, and mixed salons.
